Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber
Pembrokeshire, Wales

Pentre Ifan, overlooking the Nevern Valley in Wales, is a splendid burial
chamber with a giant capstone perched on three uprights. Pentre Ifan means Ivan's Village
and it is also known as Arthur's Quoit. This monument dates back to about 3500 BC. Local
legend tells of fairies seen near the site, described as looking like children in soldier
suits with red caps.
