Of His Merry Men

It is strange that there are not many stories about who his men were, where they were born and where they died, but local people say that Will Scarlet's grave is in the churchyard of the church at Blidworth near Nottingham. It is marked by a pile of stones, beside a yew tree - a fitting place for another legendary person skilled in the use of the longbow.
